Battle mural street art Nashville

It does sort of look like He-Man, doesn’t it? This is another of the pieces inside the old tire factory at 19th Ave near Herman. Our hero holding back (barely) the torrent of power (of her voice? of her rage? of her rainbow soul?) and his adversary are often behind a locked gate, so this qualifies as hidden art. The piece is signed @alivepaint, which is the moniker of Memphis artist Jamond Bullock. See Part 1 for a description of how this and the other pieces at this site came to be.

See the pin for Part 1 on the map. Located at the north end of the 800 block of 19th Street N., at the corner of Herman Street. It’s impossible to miss. Street parking is very haphazard. There is a lot of art to see here, and also a lot of overgrown weeds (depending on the time of year) so wear the right shoes!
