Barbershop quartet mural street art Nashville

There’s been a surge of new murals downtown, but some have been around for a while. The Barbershop Harmony Society moved its headquarters to Music City in 2007 (naturally!) and the next year unveiled this piece, an enormous copy of the Norman Rockwell classic “Barbershop Quartet” from 1936. The colors have faded somewhat after eight years in the Nashville sun, but it’s still an impressive piece.

Found on the north wall of the Society’s headquarters at 110 7th Avenue North. There’s plenty of parking nearby, but little of it is free. Best enjoyed on a walking tour of downtown!
